Search changed how buyers find businesses
We built a lead engine for what came next.
MetrixSME is a Mumbai-based growth firm that helps B2B businesses get found in search, cited in AI answers, and in front of the right buyers.
A few manufacturers fit this well. Your business is a strong match: certified automotive-grade production, with export experience across Europe and the Middle East.
Why We Exist
Search used to be a list of links.
A buyer can now ask Google’s AI Mode or ChatGPT’s voice assistant a question in their own words, and get one synthesised answer back.
That answer is assembled from sources the engine trusts, tailored to the person asking, and followed by suggestions for what to ask next. Traditional SEO still matters, because these engines are built on search indexes.
But ranking is no longer the finish line. The businesses that win are the ones AI systems understand well enough to cite.
Search is the foundation.
We start with traditional SEO, because every AI answer engine depends on content it can crawl and index.
Citation is the goal.
We structure what you know so AI engines can find it, trust it and quote it.
Outreach is the constant.
Algorithms change. A well-researched message to the right person still works.
I came from traditional SEO, and I still believe in it. But over the last few years I watched search change shape. Buyers stopped typing keywords and started asking questions in their own words, to Google’s AI Mode and to voice assistants, and getting one answer back. People kept telling me those answers were too unpredictable to optimise for. So I studied them, and found they follow patterns like any other system. MetrixSME is built on what I found, and on one more conviction: whatever happens to search, a well-researched message to the right person still works.
What we’ve learned
From client engagements and our own research into how AI engines choose their sources.
-
01
AI answers look unpredictable. They aren’t.
A common view is that conversational queries are too varied to optimise for. In practice, the engines show consistent patterns in which sources they retrieve and quote. Those patterns can be studied, and acted on.
-
02
One question becomes many searches.
Google has described AI Mode as breaking a question into related sub-queries before answering. A business that clearly owns its topic can appear across those related searches, not just the original one.

03
Inconsistent information gets you skipped.
When your description, services and details differ across your website, profiles and listings, AI systems struggle to say what you do. Consistent entity information, everywhere you appear, is what lets them describe you with confidence.
-
04
Inbound leads arrive already interested.
Buyers who find you through search or AI answers have researched before making contact. In our experience, those conversations convert more readily, because both sides start with genuine attention.
Businesses we’ve worked with
How We Work.
Four commitments that shape every engagement, and that we expect clients to hold us to
Research before recommendation.
Every recommendation traces back to a primary source or something we’ve tested. If we can’t explain why, we don’t propose it.
Honest numbers.
We agree what success looks like before the work starts, and we report what didn’t work alongside what did
Scope follows the problem.
We recommend the channels your position calls for. Not every business needs every service.
We practise what we sell.
This website is built the way we build clients’ sites: answer-first, structured and consistent wherever we appear.
